Set of Circulation Coins 2018 Baby and Christening - Standard

The Czech Mint in cooperation with the Czech National Bank annually issues sets of circulation coins with motif of baby´s birth. They are not an original gift just for enthusiastic numismatics but also for those who has a newborn baby.

Many experts think that we are living in a time that will experience the end of physical payments. Some countries such as Israel or Scandinavian countries already have a dominant share of non-cash payments. Paper banknotes and coins are used for a maximum of 20% of transactions here. There is a real possibility that one day we will only pay by credit card or mobile phone. Is it not a shame? Our circulating coins such as the five-crown of Jiří Harcuba, who is perceived here and abroad as an unequalled master of the field, or Ladislav Kozák´s bimetallic fifty-crown which was declared the world's most beautiful circulating coin in 1993. In short, we should be proud of it and maybe our children will be interested in what their parents payed by.

The annual set of circulation coins was created for this purpose. It contains all valid metal coins with nominal values of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 and the year of the issue 2018 issued by the Czech National Bank and produced by the Czech Mint from Jablonec nad Nisou. The six coins are complemented by a commemorative token made by talented female medal maker Lenka Nebeská, DiS. It shows a sleeping baby held by parents in their hands and a traditional baby toy, which is a rocking horse.

The complete set is stored in a gift packaging, where you can insert birth data and personal dedication as well as a baby photo.
