Wareneinschätzung:
On 5 March 2019, the Czech National Bank is issuing a CZK 10,000 gold coin to mark the 100th anniversary of the introduction of the Czechoslovak currency. The coin is minted from 999.9 purity gold and is issued in two versions, normal quality and proof quality, which differ in surface treatment and edge marking. Proof-quality coins have a highly polished field, a matt relief and a plain edge. Normal quality coins have milled edges. The coin is 34 mm in diameter, weighs 31.107 g and is 2.35 mm thick. Deviations in diameter of 0.1 mm and thickness of 0.15 mm are allowed. Upward deviations in weight of 0.062 g and in gold content of 0.01% are permitted.

The obverse side of the coin depicts a perforated sheet of one-koruna banknote stamps with the middle stamp torn out. Heraldic animals from the large national coat-of-arms are located in the upper part of the coin field. Written in a ring around the outer circle is the name of the state “ÈESKÁ REPUBLIKA”, the denomination and abbreviated monetary unit “10,000 Kè” and the mark of the Czech Mint in the form of the letters “È” and “M”. The reverse side of the coin is dominated by the one-koruna stamp torn out from the sheet depicted on the obverse side, which is symbolically laid on the Hungarian side of a hundred-koruna banknote of the Austro-Hungarian Bank, 1912 version. Written in a ring around the outer circle is the text “ÈESKOSLOVENSKÁ MÌNA” and the years “1919 - 2019”. The initials of the designer of the coin, Josef Oplištil, in the form of the letters “J” and “O”, are situated after the word “MÌNA”.

Each coin comes with a red catalogue card containing a description and the relief of the coin. (source: CNB)
