The universe is infinite as well as human curiosity. The Czech Mint combines both of these forces in a new collection called the Solar System.
The reverse side of the coin made by the artist duo Asamat Baltaev, DiS., and Jiří Hanuš, DiS., is dominated by the colorful depiction of the life-giving star. The orbits of the nearest planets together with the inscription SOL - in the Latin Sun - are visible in the surrounding relief. The obverse side of the coin depicts the entire solar system and presents the astronomical symbols of each planet. In the center of the system there is a portrait of Elizabeth II, which, along with the name of the Queen, the year of the issue 2019 and the nominal value of 1 DOLLAR (NZD) belong to necessary attributes of the coin issuer. This is the Pacific island of Niue, which provides the Czech Mint with a foreign license to mint its own commemorative coins.
You can save the coin in an spectacular collector's album full of pictures and interesting information about the universe and its conquerors.
