The Czech Mint introduces the silver commemorative coins of Křemílek´s inseparable friend Vochomurka from the collector's miniseries Fairy Tales of Moss and Fern.
The television bedtime story of the director, animator and screenwriter Zdeněk Smetana, which was based on the theme of the book by writer Václav Čtvrtek, is playful and cute but also poetic and artistic. Therefore both children and adults enjoy it. Several generations have grown with the stories of two forest men Křemílek and Vochomurka, who appeared on TV screens for the first time in 1968, that is 50 years ago. The first 13 of 39 animated stories were created in black and white.
Fairytale coins of the Czech Mint for both small and big collectors are traditionally prepared by talented medal maker Irena Hradecká, DiS. On the reverse side there is artless Vochomurka, who is the smaller, plump, naive and perhaps a little more timid one, who is sitting on a leaf pillow and watching a flying butterfly. The coins of the Czech Mint are based on the foreign license of the island of Niue, and their obverse side therefore carries the necessary attributes of this issuer, which means the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II., the year of the issue 2018 together with the nominal value of 1 DOLLAR (NZD).
After Křemílek with Vochomůrka, the three-part miniseries introduces also their house, which is a stump cottage. Keep in mind that Kremilek´s coin also included a fairy tale album where you can store your collection.
