Who would not know the immortal Soviet grotesque Well, Just You Wait! A wolf appears on the first gold coin of the Czech Mint from the five-part miniseries that commemorates the animated heroes and their stories.

Bell-bottoms, pink shirt, smudged cigarette… While the wolf's appearance was based on a hairy individual with a bulging belly and a cigarette between the lips, which director Vyacheslav Kotenochkin met on the street, in fact, his negative character came from the experience of artist Svetozar Rusakov, when some villain jumped the line for cinema tickets in Novosibirsk in the war year 1941.

The reverse side of the officially licensed coin, which was processed by the medal maker Petr Patka, DiS., presents a cheerful wolf which, despite its hooliganism, won the audience's sympathy. The composition is supplemented with an inscription JUST YOU WAIT! - WOLF. As the coins of the Czech Mint are licensed by a foreign issuer, the island of Niue, their obverse sides bear the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the nominal value of 5 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2021.
