The silver coin of the Czech Mint from the gift series with the motifs of the 12 signs of the zodiac will become not only beautiful, but also a valuable talisman for anyone born under the sign of Scorpio.

The sign of Scorpio recalls the old Greek legend of the proud hunter Orion, who swore to exterminate all the animals in the world. This displeased the goddess of the hunt, Artemis, and she sent a deadly scorpion after him. The duel between the hunter and the scorpion impressed Zeus, the ruler of the gods, that he raised them both to the heavens and made them constellations... Scorpions in human form are known for their tenacity and confidence. Their behaviour ranges in extremes - they are able to use their strong will for good and evil. They can be talkative and warm as well as silent and cold. Friends can rely on them, however, they do not forgive enemies. They take everything incredibly seriously, which can easily lead to obsession.

The unusual oval-shaped coin bears a coloured image of Scorpio on the reverse side. No photographs or computer graphics were used as the basis for the colouring - the author of the coin, Asamat Baltaev, DiS., created an original watercolour painting. The relief in the background behind Scorpio presents a disc with a dozen zodiac signs. The composition of the reverse side is completed by the Latin inscription SCORPIO and the corresponding astrological symbol. As the coins of the Czech Mint are issued with the foreign licence of the island of Niue, the obverse side bears its national emblem, the nominal value of ONE DOLLAR (NZD) and the year of issue 2021. All this is surrounded by twelve astrological signs.

The coin is stored in an elegant box.
