The Czech Mint is closing the collector's mini-series that was published to the occasion of the 50th birthday of the comic book entitled Four Leaf Clover. Bobík appears on the fourth gold coin.
Bobík is a strong piggy and even bigger eater - he likes dumplings, goulash, cake and Fifinka's famous cakes. He has problems with overweight, however, he is a keen sportsman that is able to quickly lose the weight with the dumbbells. Snacks and work out are not his only hobbies - he likes playing guitar and singing loudly, even though his musical art is not for everyone… What he doesn't like is injustice. In case of injustice he tries to rectify it and punishes all the culprits rightfully - sometimes drawing out his dreaded fists, sometimes just a bad look is enough...
The medal maker Mária Filová, DiS created the relief of the commemorative coin according to original comic book illustrations. The reverse side presents Bobík, who tests one of Myšpulín's inventions - rocket roller skates. The composition of the reverse is supplemented with Bobík's autograph. The obverse side then bears the necessary attributes of the island of Niue that provides the Czech Mint with foreign license to mint its own commemorative coins. Those attributes are the name and the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the nominal value of 5 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of the issue 2020.
Remember that the Myšpulín coin includes a collector's album where you can store a complete four-part comic book collection.
