Seven wonders of the ancient world
The third of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is the Temple of Artemis in Ephesus. This special product will be especially appreciated by investors. The entire package contains one troy ounce of gold, but divided into ten identical coins. When you want to monetize only part of your investment, you can break the package and sell it in pieces...

"The Temple of the goddess Artemis of Ephesus is a unique dwelling of the gods on earth. Whoever has seen it once has become convinced that heaven and earth have exchanged places," wrote the philosopher Philo about the building, which was one of the most magnificent and largest in the world. The magnificent marble sanctuary, which became the benchmark of the Ionian architectural order, was a religious as well as a commercial and cultural centre. It was destroyed by fire in the 4th century BC, but was subsequently rebuilt by Alexander the Great. For more than half a millennium, it stood in all its glory. Processions of pilgrims from all corners of the Greek world came here to sacrifice to the virgin goddess of hunting, nature and fertility. However, the Goths came and ravaged the temple again in late antiquity. By this time, the faithful were beginning to turn to another venerable virgin named Mary, and the pagan wonder of the world was forgotten...

The reverse side of the coin, which is the work of the medal maker Petra Brodská, DiS., presents a depiction of the Temple of Artemis, which is based, among other things, on contemporary coins. The English inscription states THE TEMPLE OF ARTEMIS AT EPHESUS. The obverse side, which is common to the entire cycle, then presents all seven wonders of the world - the Egyptian pyramids, the Hanging Gardens of Semiramis, the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, the statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the Colossus of Rhodes and the Lighthouse on the island of Pharos. As the coins of the Czech Mint are issued with the foreign licence of the island of Niue, their obverse side also bears the portrait and name of Queen Elizabeth II, the nominal value of 5 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2022.

Ten identical coins are sealed in a special packaging. This is perforated so that it can be conveniently divided into ten parts if necessary.

Note: The packaging is covered with foil to prevent damage during transport
