Another gold coin of the Czech Mint, weighing one half of a gram, which is placed in a replica of the postcard, was dedicated to the city of Zlín. Although the first mention of Zlín dates back to the 14th century, we all associate it with the rapid development of the 20th century, so the coin is dominated by the famous Bata skyscraper.

In the series of postcards there were only so-called lithographic postcards from the end of the 19th century. They required demanding artistic preparation and their production was costly. Therefore, only a few cities could have them. Zlín reached modern photo-postcards in the 20th century. The original postcard, which served as a masterpiece of the Czech Mint, comes from the collection of Mr. Pavel Vursta. The print that documents the economic and cultural development of Zlín in the first half of the 20th century was published by Fototypia (František Kusák) in 1935 and sent out in 1940 during the Nazi occupation. It belongs to a collector's valuable group of so-called postcards collage. It captures the city center, important industrial buildings, industrial medallions and a typical aircraft. The composition of the postcard is completed by a car tire and signs ZLÍN - THE CITY OF GOOD SHOES and THINKING TO PEOPLE – HARD WORK TO MACHINES.

The coin, which is the work of the talented medal maker Petra Brodská, DiS., was devoted to Baa's skyscraper, which was built between 1936 and 1938 as a modern directorate of the world-famous shoemaking company. With 17 floors and a height of 77.5 m it was the second highest building in Europe. The functionalist construction on the reverse side is complemented by the inscription ZLÍN. The obverse side also belongs to the island of Niue, an issuer that provides the Czech Mint with a foreign license to coin its own commemorative coins. They are the name and the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2018 and the nominal value of 5 DOLLARS (NZD).

The original issue, which attracts both numismatics and philocartists, represents an accessible collector's piece and a valuable gift or regional attention.
