The design of the coin “In Victoria” refers to Greek mythology. A hero triumphantly raising his sword to the heavens, is a true embodiment of success. His second attribute – a shield adorned with a golden laurel wreath, constitutes a visual metaphor of victory. The composition is framed by two winged divine creatures – a Pegasus and a griffin – both bowing in obeisance and deep respect for the winner. The obverse of the coin depicts two fighting warriors surrounded by ancient Greek ornaments. Their images allude to hard work and perseverance, as no one succeeds without effort. The coin presentation case is wrapped in a specially-designed cover, adorned with a golden laurel wreath – a symbolic reward for all the successful pursuits, efforts and outstanding achievements.
